On September 8, 2018, the Philly Children’s Movement will launch our #BLK2SCHOOL campaign, demanding that schools hire more Black teachers. Our launch event will be held at Little Jimmie’s Bakery Cafe from 12:30-4pm. We are asking that families and community members drop off school supplies to be donated to a local school and pick up campaign materials designed to support parents and students in advocating for more black educators.
